Quality Visitor Experience through Immersive Technology

Jointly organised by ASA & Republic Polytechnic (RP) and supported by employment & employability institute (e2i) , all ASA members are invited for the course. This course aims to enable attendees to learn how the usage of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) from real life cases, can help to create quality guest experiences.

33 individuals from 10 member attractions had attended the one day course at Republic Polytechnic. Conducted by Mr Edmund Poh, lecturer with Republic Polytechnic, he shared theories relating to guest experiences in attractions and also proposed discussion topics for participants to engage in. Later in the day, the course showcased its participants on various immersive technologies attractions could consider to improve visitor’s experience. Participants were exposed to usage of VR and AR to experience attractions better. The day ended with presentation of certificates to each and every participant and a group photo to commemorate the end of the course.
